Highlights of "Dom Trapera" Guest House
This is a truly unique place located at the heart of a wild countryside, almost untouched by human hands within a radius of 30 km. "Dom Trapera" is where birds wake you up early in the morning, and where the law of nature and wildlife in woods and swamps remains intact. This is where you can visit the notorious "Czerwone Bagno" Faunal-Peatbog Reserve, a habitat of moose, wolf, lynx, beaver, and plenty of rare birds. To visit this place, you must head in the southern direction. From the north, the house neighbours the huge Augustów Primeval Forest - equally worth-visiting as the Biebrza National Park. It offers beautiful corners, picturesque nature reserves the Augustów Canal and countless lakes, which makes it a perfect place for nature lovers, birdwatcher, mushroom pickers, hunters, anglers and all guests who enjoy silence and tranquillity.
I encourage all guests who visit this magical countryside and to get to know the the best what nature has to offer. My guests are encouraged to take cycling trips to the Augustów Primeval Forest and the Biebrza National Park, where they are free to discover the large and small mysteries of nature...
I also recommend kayaking on the rivers of Biebrza,Netta,Jegrznia, the Augustów Canal, the Woznawiejski Canal, which is equally enjoyable and offer exceptional opportunities to get closer to the wild nature.
Long walks or combined walking and driving tours allow to visit numerous places of interest and to watch the mysterious world of nature within just one day...
For guests who are keen on some more demanding physical challenge, I also organize more extreme trips to the woods and swamps. Despite certain inconveniences (insects, dangerous swamps, river crossings, etc.) and physical discomforts, these expeditions will linger in your memory and offer great adventure at the heart of wild nature and in direct contact with various animal species...
On request, I also hold photographic workshops and organize visits to the most interesting corners of the Biebrza National Park, the Augustów Primeval Forest, the Wigry National Park, and the Suwalki Landscape Park, as well as other places in region of Podlasie, Augustowszczyzna and Suwalszczyzna.
